This Saturday we took the kids to the U of Houston Homecoming game. It was great. We took Ashley and Daniel to a game earlier this fall, but this was Laurie's first game. She was great. No problems at all. Ashley and Daniel had a great time rooting for their favorite team - the Cougars. Daniel would get very excited and yell, "First Down" after the announcer. They both can cheer, "Eat'm up, Eat'm up, go Coogs go!" with their little Cougar paws up in the air. It really was great to see the game as a family.
Daniel did have to take a nap late in the 4th quarter - we started tailgating at 1 p.m., game at 2:30 - so he did great to make it that long. Daddy held Laurie while she slept and Mommy held Daniel for his nap. It was cute.
Oh, and did I mention that the Coogs played GREAT! We won the game and have a great shot at the Conference Championship game on Dec. 1st and maybe the Liberty Bowl again in late December. Keep your fingers crossed for their continued success.

I didn't know you went there Sat! Looks like you had a blast and the kids are adorable in their red with their little cougar paws.
