Last week Ashley told me her tooth was loose. I was like, Yeah, Right. (She has been saying that ever since her cousin lost her first tooth). Surprise, Surprise, it was really loose. You could have knocked me over. We called EVERYONE to share the news. All her friends at dance and school got to see and wiggle it. Over the weekend it got really wiggly from letting everyone wiggle it.
This morning while eating toast, it fell out. No pain, no pulling, minimal blood. Again, we had to call everyone and share the news. Daddy had already left for work, so he was first. She is at school right now, so I'm sure she is showing everyone the new hole in her mouth. I've put her tooth in a ziploc so I don't loose it before she comes home. It is sooo tiny.
She knows the tooth fairy is to come tonight, so we asked her what the tooth fairy will bring her. She told us, "shiny coins or a toy." Very cool. I'm letting her borrow my tooth pillow from when I was a kid until she and I can make her one of her own. I was surprised that she wanted to use it.
Ashley has a dentist appointment in 2 weeks. Won't they be surprised that at barely 5, she's already lost a tooth. My baby girl is growing up too fast.

Don't forget to write it in her baby book!!!!!
We're singing a song for you: (tune: Turkey in the Straw)
Look in Ashley's mouth and what do you see?
A great big hole where a tooth used to be!
Well she wiggled it and jiggled it
Until it wiggled free,
And now there a window when she smiles at me!
When someone loses a tooth in Brenna's class, they get to stand on the teacher's chair at the front of the room and the whole class sings this to them. Brenna was up there last week because she lost her top front tooth. http://www.brennaandmolly.blogspot.com/ Jan 21 - Come see!!
I hope your classmates enjoyed your new smile too. You look adorable!
