We have another O-Fish-al HSC swimmer! Laurie took her first of three "float tests" and passed with flying colors! HSC requires their young swimmers to pass water safety float tests before progressing on to the next level of classes where they swim independently. The child has to float with clothes & shoes, by themselves for either 5 minutes or until they reach the side of the pool. She was very exicted for her test and did wonderfully. When everyone clapped and cheered at the end, she was happy but really tired. The video below is around 2 1/2 mintues.

That was so good. It's so hard to watch because you couldnt' see her face from so far away. I could not be an instructor (for many reasons)watching these little kids and not reaching to hold them up. Great job, Laurie.
