Clear Chest X-Ray

Prayers are working.  Birdie got the news today that her latest chest x-ray this week is clear of pneumonia!!  It almost doesn't seem real since she has been dealing with this horrible illness for months.  We will be back in to talk with Dr. D in a couple weeks for Laurie's well check.  Maybe it will have sunk in by then.  And hopefully, she will still be healthy!

Dr. D is referring Laurie to a Allergist/Immunologist for additional testing even though the pneumonia is gone.  She suspects there might be an underlying condition that keeps Laurie from being able to fight off colds and respiratory ailments like an otherwise healthy child would. But for now, we are celebrating having a pneumonia free child.

After this great news, she got in the pool for the first time in several weeks.  She was a happy Birdie.
