We were very happy to be jumping up and down in the stands of Robertson Stadium at U of Houston last night as the Cougars beat Southern Miss to become the Conference USA Champions. It was a chilly night for Houston, about 45 degrees but being shoulder to shoulder with a sold out crowd and yelling for the team kept us relatively warm. What a game! And in front of a national audience on ESPN. It was exciting and the Coogs played really well. Not in their usual cardiac coog style. Why can't all games be that exciting?
Now they are off to the Liberty Bowl in Memphis on December 29th. We aren't sure if we are going, but I know I would love to be there to see the Cougars play South Carolina.
