Yes, you guessed it! Birdie is now potty trained!
After weeks of trying to get her to "go" on the potty, we decided to go diaper free last week once school was out. It only took her a day to realize that she preferred to use the potty rather than go on the floor. With very minimal accidents since the first day, she LOVES all her new panties.
Its funny, she's loving using both the big and little potties so much, that the girl will "go" constantly all day, just for the marshmallows and dum dum lollipops.
For me, its been difficult to get back in the mind set of remembering to take her to the bathroom every time we go into a new store. It never fails that we're in the back of the store and she says she has to go.
But we've learned a few things since Daniel was training. For instance, I now take the little potty in the car with us to swim team practice and the park. It's much easier than having to worry if I can find a bathroom in time.
Brian and I were realizing we've had constant diapers for the last 7 1/2 years! Wow! It's really exciting to be almost done!

I am jealous! We've got one in diapers still, can't wait for the day that I don't have to change one! ;)
