Small Success (6)

FaithButton

It's Thursday, so here I go with my "success" list for the week...

1. I seem to have established a Monday laundry/cleaning routine with the kids. That's not to say that my house is sparkling clean on Mondays, but we do dedicate the day to laundry, grocery shopping and house cleaning. Even the kids are getting into the habit by picking up their rooms, cleaning their own bathrooms and organizing the playroom. I know they realize it is a "thing" because when I asked Ashley to clean her room last Thursday, she replied, "Mom, but its not Monday."

2. I managed to finish several sewing projects recently, including a birthday present for my nephew. Shh, don't tell him, his party is Sunday. My stack of material and ideas is growing, but I'm happy that I've stuck with it. Each thing I makes feels like its getting a little easier and I love that the kids are now asking me to make them things.

3. This one may or may not count, but my husband told me he had a great Father's Day. That might count as a success for me for the week since I really tried hard to make the day what he wanted.
(If you don't remember the purpose of the "Small Success" Thursday blog posts, click on the picture at the top, it will take you to the Faith and Family Live website where it all started.)

The list is wonderful! I envy you on the sewing thing. I am still learning. I wish I was a master at it, I am not patience.
