It was a great weekend at SBR. Laurie and Alex enjoyed chasing each other around the yard in the ATV and Gator.
The kids then took turns “driving “ the tractor through the yard.
The boys decided to start another ranch project - a new front deck. Ever since they built the new living room out of our front porch, we’ve not had a porch or deck to sit outside and enjoy the day. They decided to remedy that problem by creating a large new porch. They received LOTS of help from the kids to get rid of a stump.

Like usual, Nana had reading duty at bedtime.
The next day, Papa took the kids out to see the deer blind on the new property he purchased. They all got to climb up to the top and look out.
Unfortunately, the only wildlife we spotted during the weekend was a red-eared slider.
The boys got a good start on the deck – the foundation laid and boards started.
Just another couple of weekends and we will be sitting out on our new deck.
