Fun with Balloons

We tried a new science experiment today with balloons.  The goal is to stick a wooden skewer all the way through a blown up balloon using petroleum jelly without popping it.  The kids had lots and lots of fun attempting this experiment.

Kids just love balloons.  Ashley & Birdie spent most of their time just letting go the ones I blew up for her just to chase them around.  Check out the video of them.



Daniel and Ashley popped too many balloons to mention trying to get this right.  But, then Daniel finally got it right.  Yeah Boy!
